Meet Josh

Hi, my name is Joshua Carter.

But you can call me Josh 🙂 I am a husband, father, Nationally Certified Personal Trainer, owner of Carter Fitness and creator of the 2XR Fitness & Fat loss System. You might have heard of me or even seen me in ads in the local papers, community publications or even my recent appearance on national TV.

See, while I’m proud to say that I have created are the number one personal training facility in The Valley, I’m even more proud to say that in my over 20 years in the fitness industry I have been a part of helping good folks just like you achieve some amazing results and dropping over 30,00 pounds of unhealthy fat. (And that is not an exaggeration.)

But let me tell you a secret. Shhhh……

I have been where you are: Overweight an unhappy. At one time I even let myself get near 280lbs. My whole life I have struggled with weight issues. I am *NOT* what you would call genetically gifted when it comes to being lean. If there is an opposite to gifted, then I am that.

Here is a picture of me with my son (I weighed 273 lbs.) as you can see I was using my son to hide my belly. Here I am just nine weeks later at a lean 219 lbs.

But for almost 20 years I have been actively researching fitness and fat loss. I have tried every idiotic diet there is every crazy workout style I could find.

So I think we can agree that if time were unlimited, life would be a lot simpler. I have often thought that if I just didn’t need to sleep I would have time for everything I needed to do.
